BIRD Grey Crowned Crane from Andrew Zuckerman Studio on Vimeo.

owltastic cardcame home last to find a gorgeous card in the post – sent by a darling friend who takes delight in feeding my owl obsession – and it now sits on my desk to cheer me up on this never-ending friday!

it seemed appropriate, then, to post this mesmerising video created by andrew zuckerman, to accompany his book of incredible bird photography. made me gasp!

update: the bird film’s embed feature was disabled on vimeo so you’ll have to follow the direct link to view it.

kiss the ceiling

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

i love a photo series with an interesting premise. just like jan von holleben’s dreams of flying, this one called ‘kiss the ceiling’ by fred muram had me captivated, though a little bit bewildered. but ultimately made me feel really, really good.
