i love a photo series with an interesting premise. just like jan von holleben’s dreams of flying, this one called ‘kiss the ceiling’ by fred muram had me captivated, though a little bit bewildered. but ultimately made me feel really, really good.

in this installation yesyesno teamed up with the church, inside out productions and electric canvas to turn the auckland ferry building into an interactive playground. our job was to create an installation that would go beyond merely projection on buildings and allow viewers to become performers, by taking their body movements and amplifying them 5 stories tall.
we used 3 different types of interaction – body interaction on the two stages, hand interaction above a light table, and phone interaction with the tracking of waving phones. there were 6 scenes, cycled every hour for the public.
received a subscription to russh magazine for christmas this year (yesssss!) and been spending delicious mornings sipping tea, eating leftovers and pouring over the contents of the latest issue – including this fabulously sexy neon-wetsuit-sportslux spread. has totally renewed my interest in pilates and fitness… just in time for the new year!
a love letter for you is a public mural arts project in the city of philadelphia. each work is a love letter painted to the sides of buildings that can be viewed from the city’s elevated train system. love the old-fashioned, hand-rendered sign writer’s typography – bring it back to the mainstream shopping districts i say!
holidays are inching closer and closer and to be frank, my head’s already there. these pictures pretty much sum it all up – lots of lazing around, swimming, spending time in the countryside. ok macking onto a hot guy probably ain’t gonna happen but a girl can dream.
