busy busy busy week at work. it feels like a friday… but it’s not. i wish i had some champagne so i could bring a little more gayness to my day.

1. tran-seasonal dressing on carolines mode. love the sweater and wang bag. and the combination of kate moss’s poppy dress with biker boots and blue socks.

2. european places and spaces that have caught my eye recently.

3. dreaming of escaping to a country cottage with my close friends and sipping wine as the sun sets over the tree tops.

4. quitting smoking has been hard. it’s been replaced by cheese and wine and all manner of delicious foods and as a result my clothes are feeling very snug at the moment. so today i’m starting a *diet*. argh. just clean salads and fruit with plenty of swimming and yoga until the kilos have melted away.

5. i’ve burned through a few great novels in the last month or so. heading to the local book store to re-stock my bedside table…

simone decker’s bubblegum art has me remembering the days of sickly sweet grape hubba bubba and the gobs of the tasteless remains left stuck beneath school desks and chairs. i never mastered the art of the perfect bubble… this might make me want to give it another go!
