iceland gifted björk with this island called elliðaey for helping put iceland on the international map. according to reports, there’s been a bit of a public outcry, but isn’t the idea of having a solitary wooden house on a cold, windy island like this just marvellous? and a perfect place for a musician like björk to dream up her new direction in soundscape…
