i have been dying to try mast brothers chocolate but am yet to find it anywhere locally. this video by cool hunting does nothing to dampen my desire.

gardening inventor michael riley has figured out a way to grow a wall of plants inside his apartment in new york city. it took a few expeditions to south america, more than a decade and a half of research, and a whole lotta cork. his system doesn’t require any dirt as the plants survive on water and fertiliser alone. i think it’s marvellous!

it’s been a challenge finding good high-res runway shots from fashion week. i’m thankful for these via knight cat, susie bubble, and vogue australia.
wow. how did i miss these when i visited tokyo? read about super blogger sea of shoes’ recent trip to a cat café where for 1000 yen she got to sip tea and pat some kitties for an hour. heaven!
in other cat-related news, i’m considering a pet bow tie for my own furry friend. thoughts?
ira glass from this american life (♥!) talks about creative pursuits and having good taste. the lesson? if you have a love for your creative field (and therefore a good eye for it), you’ll recognise when the work you’re doing falls short. and if you work long and hard eventually the quality of your creative output will rise up to meet your expectations.

off to stay at a friend’s farmhouse in legume for the long weekend. we’re doing wine tasting in nearby stanthorpe, taking walks through the bush, eating home baked scones with jam and cream, drinking beer at sunset, and singing and dancing like fools around the fire. *cannot wait!*
