suno new york is inspiring me to experiment with mix-and-match prints, colours and textures. we’ve got a bit of tribal here, a bit of harlequin there, added to that is a touch of tartan, some vintage-inspired florals and some sparkles, and its all topped off with ridiculously high platforms. yummy. it’s a bit like the cheeky little sister of easton pearson.
mori girls (森ガール) look like fairytale forest wanderers in their loose dresses, vintage prints and quaint accessories. mori girls choose to live their lives on their own terms, stopping to appreciate the little things that others overlook amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life.

french children’s label finger in the nose is for hipsters in the making. part of me aches for the days when kids were kids and wore dowdy hand-me-downs and disastrous hand-made clothes and it didn’t matter if things were ripped, stained or left behind at friend’s places. but another part of me just thinks these kids just look down right cool.
and france must have a pretty special children’s modelling school, no? those poses are fierce!

you can’t really go wrong with liberty prints, smart button up shirts, totally rad red hair and a healthy dose of parisian hyper-cool. it’s almost cheating, isn’t it thomsen?
danish milliner søren bach’s creations have been worn by naomi campbell, kate moss and björk amongst other lucky clientele. the pom pom hat is an absolute winner, and you can see it now at the stephen jones hats exhibition currently showing at the queensland art gallery.
